When I was 18, I cold-emailed #1 NYT bestselling author Keith Ferrazzi (who wrote Never Eat Alone and served as the Chief Marketing Officer of Deloitte in his 30s).

I offered to work for free, for one month, for a chance to prove myself.

After that month, Keith became my first-ever client of Kleinert Ventures, an “entrepreneurial” marketing consulting firm I started (accidentally) because Keith took a chance on me…

…and when a former Fortune 500 CMO and #1 NYT bestselling author is your first client, it’s easy to get other exceptional thought leaders to give you a chance, too.

Since then, I’ve been fortunate to work with 50+ incredible venture-funded startups, Olympians, Rhodes Scholars, Emmy award-winners, TED speakers, 7+ figure business owners, record-breaking crowdfunding campaigns, and others.

Today, I only take two clients per month, don’t do any long-term consulting work (only “VIP Days”, or all-day, ideally in-person strategy sessions), and as of Sept 30…
